The Lagos State Magistrate court has finally released Nollywood actor, Baba Ijesha on bail.

The comic actor was spotted on his way to court for another hearing during the early hours of today, the 24th of June.

According to reports, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Ikeja Special Offences Court granted the actor bail in the sum of two million naira and two sureties.

One of the sureties the judge said must be a blood relative of the defendant and the other, a lawyer.

This comes several weeks after Baba Ijesha was arrested and detained by the Lagos state police after being alleged to have sexually molested a minor at 7 and 14.

For those that do not know, Baba IIjesha is facing a six-count charge bordering on the indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault by penetration.
