Nigerian stand-up comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, popularly known as Ali Baba has taken to social media to share a hilarious throwback photo of himself putting on an old suit.

According to him, the suit which is better referred to as a coat has always been there for him in his youthful days as he has always rocked it on different occasions.

Sharing a throwback photo, he had recounted his journey as an MC has started since the year 1980 when he was only known for his white coat which has helped him through remarkable occasions like his matriculation, convocation and NYSC.

His ever multipurpose suit is still at his beck and call whenever he is in need of it as it is kept in his village alongside other old valuable things from childhood.

He wrote:

Why wait till Thursday to throw this back.
This was 1980 something (guess what year)… I was working as an MC.
No be today.
Funny thing, I still saw that suit when I went to the village.
That suit did Matriculation and convocation. And went for NYSC. It can not be dashed out. It will be unfair.
The “ojah” my mum used to carry me as a baby is in a metal box in the village. Will soon frame it sef
