The club confirmed Messi’s injury in a statement today.

The statement read, “Lionel Messi, who took a knock to his left knee against Lyon, underwent an MRI on Tuesday morning, which confirmed signs of bruising of the bone. A follow-up examination will be carried out in 48 hours.”

It added, “Marco Verratti started running again today.

“Sergio Ramos is continuing his individual training.

“Ismaël Gharbi is in individual training.”

PSG head to the game following a 2-1 win against Lyon in their last game.

The Nigerian army has denied firing live bullets at the protesting students of Plateau State Polytechnic.

The Nigerian Army under Operation SAFE HAVEN was reported that have invaded the school campus and unleashed terror on peaceful protesters, leaving one dead and so many hospitalised.

But, Operation SAFE HAVEN in a statement by its spokesperson, Major Ishaku Takwa, on Monday, denied the act saying it only “dispersed the protesting students who barricaded the major road linking Jos Metropolis with other states causing traffic jam to commuters”.
