Hon. Mrs Susan Nguveren Waya, the mother of ex-Big Brother Naija star, Kiddwaya, has begun her gubernatorial consultation in Benue State.

The billionaire wife who recently made known her intentions to run for the office of the Benue State Governor in 2023, over the weekend took her campaign to the palaces of some royal fathers in the Jechira axis of the state.

She was received in Kegh-il Mbayongo in Vandeikya Local Government by the kindred head of kegh- il, Chief Akaakohol Akpa and elder David Akpusugh leading other elders, women, youth and children.

The kindred head blessed her and prayed for God’s protection and overall success in her quest to govern the state in 2023. She was unanimously adopted as their sole candidate in the forthcoming election.

Hon. Susan waya was thereafter presented to Mbayongo council of chiefs led by His Royal Highness, Chief BA Ankwa, where she got another endorsement and the traditional feet washing.

The Governorship hopeful promised speedy development of the community and Benue state at large if voted to office. She decried the non-implementation of the National Gender policy, a development that has consistently shrink the space for women participation in politics.

Her campaign train later proceeded to the PDP Secretariat in Vandeikya.

In her brief speech, Mrs Waya, said she is prepared and ready for the contest. She urged her supporters to stay focused and avoid any form of rancour as her mission is to create wealth and uplift their standard of living through the targeted economic intervention programs.
