Nigerian singer Iledare Oluwajuwonlo, better known by his stage name Jaywon has called out Arik Airline staff for allegedly humiliating him at the airport.
In a post shared on Instagram, Jaywon said a duty manager made him miss his flight for refusing to delete the videos of what transpired between them.
Jaywon attributed the cause of the incident to the face mask he was wearing and travelling along, making him unrecognisable.
According to the singer, the so-called politicians in the country are not the major problem in Nigerian, noting that some people tend to change their personality when they are given an opportunity of leadership.
Jaywon added that he as video evidence of all that happened at the airport and will sue them in court for such behaviour.
He wrote: So I was humiliated by one of the staff of Arik airline (Duty Manager) This evening who after making me miss the first flight and also pay for the next flight, still refused to give me my boarding pass because I refused to delete a video I made of what transpired.
All this happened because I was wearing a face mask and I was travelling alone… Well, he succeeded in making me buy another ticket from another airline but I can’t stop thinking about it.
The people wey no be politicians for this country worse pass the so-called politician and until we change our ways in this country, I really do not see any good thing coming out of us because everybody once they get any opportunity
always turns something else… All for how much?
I even ask for a refund they say no until tomorrow. You refused to let me fly and still refused to give me a refund, If na you wetin you go do? I have all the video evidence on my phone. I’m taking this up
