Manchester United have called an emergency board meeting to discuss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dismissal as manager, the UK Times reports.

It is believed the meeting will be held virtually on Saturday evening.

This comes after the Red Devils were defeated 4-1 by Watford in the Premier League earlier in the day.

From all indications, it appears like the Norwegian’s reign at Old Trafford is over.

Two names who have been linked to replace Solskjaer are former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers
