Two persons have been killed, while “more than 50” have allegedly been abducted in an attack in Unguwan Gimbiya community of Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Daily Trust reported that an eyewitness said the incident happened in the early hours of Friday December 3. The source alleged that 13 families were attacked in the operation, which lasted for about two hours.
“They invaded Ungwan Gimbiya Community of Sabo in Chikun local government area of Kaduna state, killed two people and abducted 50.”
A resident, Gideon Jatau also confirmed the attack, saying the community had never had it so bad.
“We have been experiencing pockets of kidnapping but this is the worst in the community.”
Jatau also revealed that many residents moved to safer places for fear of another attack.
