Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo has questioned if Nigerians can ever change their perception of the Nigerian Police Force after his wife’s reaction to a photo of him in a Police uniform.

RMD, who is currently on a movie set, revealed he sent his wife, the photo of himself playing the character of the Inspector General of Police.

According to RMD, his wife gushed over the outfit, saying the IG’s glasses matched his uniform and he must be corrupt.

Surprised at the response, RMD questioned if the image of the Police is terrible and can people ever change the perception they have about them.

In his words: I sent this photo to my wife and all she could say was, the IG’s glasses matched his uniform, he must be corrupt! So seriously is the image of the police that bad? Can we ever change our perception of the Nigerian Police Force?
