Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola Salako is mourning the death of veteran actor, Larry Williams.

The actor died at the age of 82 following a long illness and his death was announced by his family on Monday, February 28.

A statement from his family said the actor, who was famous for his roles in soap operas, died on Sunday, February 27, in his home in Ikom, Cross River State.

Following the news of his death, Foluke took to her Instagram page to mourn him.

The actress and the veteran were close pals, hence, the pain over his death.

Foluke mentioned how the veteran had several dreams which he couldn’t fulfill.

She recounted how he told her before his death not to allow him die before printing his books and launching it and how he made her promise to help achieve his reality.

She questioned how she would live with the guilt of not keeping to his promise and publishing his books.

“My uncle Larry is gone again, yet another veteran with dreams left unachieved and unfulfilled, haaa I remember the last time I saw him before I took him for this photo shoot, he said and I quote ” Foluke pls don’t lemme die without printing these books out and launching it” and he made me promise I will help him achieve this to reality. That was y we (@phursuns and myself) to take these photographs with the intention to use them for the books and the event to launch them, then he fell ill and be had to travel to his home state and the next thing I hear is he’s GONE though he wasn’t a young man to die but now do I deal with the guilt that I feel so deep and strong of me not being able to fulfill uncle Larry’s dreams of publishing his books??? How???How???!!How??!!!
RIP uncle Larry Williams am in so much pains and I can’t even help the tears from falling. May ur gentle soul Rest in Peace”.
