Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi has assured her husband of victory to assume a lawmaker’s position and represent the Eti-Osa constituency, Lagos, in the House of Representatives.
In the post shared on her Instagram page, Adesua Etomi said she’s rooting for her husband, Banky W and praying for his strength.
Adesua Etomi urged her husband to take his talents like the parable of the talents in the Bible and multiply them, adding they shall leave the earth knowing they gave their all.
The mother of one said that her husband inspires her more than she can put in words, and she is blessed to be in his team and by his side.
She wrote: To the greatest man I know.
Rooting for you
Loving on you
Praying for your strength.
To whom much is given, much is expected. Like the parable of the talents, take your 10 and multiply it. We shall leave this earth knowing we gave our all. You inspire me more than I can possibly put into words.
Blessed to be on your team and by your side. #team#talkanddo#wemove
Kemi Filani News recalls Banky W declared his intention a few days ago and shared his poster on his verified Instagram page urging youths to do the needful.
His post followed with lots of nods from his colleagues and fans as they promised to stand by him till the finish line.
BankyW wrote: “I know this is April Fool’s Day, but this is not a joke. We must engage with Nigeria where it is, not where we prefer for it to be. We must no longer be content to shout from the sidelines. We must get into the system to fix it. In 2019, we planted the seed. In 2023, by the grace of God, and with your support, we will win the seat. The time for just talking about our problems is over.
It’s time to #TalkAndDo. I hope and pray that I can count on you. We move. #TalkAndDo #TalkAndDo2023 #Banky2023 #PDP #PDPLagos #WeMove #BankOnBanky.”
He further stated, “Tomorrow we declare. And then we move. DM @thebworg if you’d like to join us tomorrow, we need as many people as possible. We need you. We must engage with Nigeria where it is, not where we prefer for it to be.
In 2019, we planted the seed. In 2023, by the grace of God, and with your support, we will win the seat. The time for just talking about our problems is over. It’s time to #TalkAndDo. I hope and pray that I can count on you to support, share and join the movement.”
