First Nigerian female standup Comedienne, Mandy Uzonitsha has gifted herself a mansion in Lekki, Lagos on her 50th birthday.
The single mother of one made the good news known on her Instagram page where she shared photos of the Lekki Mansion.
“50 and proud. This my God is too much. Grateful heart. Thank you lord for my birthday gift. 4 bedroom, 5 toilet, 4 bathroom 2 kitchen and a studio apartment in lekki and all I did was seek you lord,” Mandy Uzonitsha captioned the photos she posted.
In an earlier interview with The Niche, Mandy was asked to share her experience as a single mother; her greatest fear, particularly during the early stages.
She said: “When I had my daughter, my mother stood by me. My sisters and brothers, with their wives, all supported me. My friends –Bukola Coker, Iyabo Lawani, Yinka Davies, Mofe Oyetogun and Bibian Jambo – supported me. But most of all, God comforted me, provided for me and was my strength. It was and is still not easy as a single mum. But my advice to single mothers is to trust God; if He gave you a child, He will make provision.”
