A traveller has shared photos of the jollof rice she and other passengers were served on a plane and this has led to an argument between Nigerians and Ghanaians as citizens of both countries deny ownership of the jollof.
The Twitter user said she was on a flight to Ghana when she was served a plate of jollof rice, vegetables, and tomato sauce.
The food in the photo she shared looks nothing like jollof and Nigerians told her that was obviously Ghana jollof since that’s where she was travelling to.
However, other travellers complained that they were served the same meal when travelling from Abuja to London.
This has now led to Nigerians and Ghanians denying the jollof rice.
