Veteran journalist Abdulhamid Agaka is dead.
He died in his sleep on Wednesday night at his residence in Kaduna, PRNigeria reports.
This comes just one month after his wife’s death.
Born on February 26, 1956, Agaka joined New Nigerian in Kaduna in 1974. He joined the Democrat Newspaper as an editor in 1988 but went into media consultancy in 1997.
Agaka was an alumnus of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos and a fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE).
