As the ASUU strike enters day 208, Nigerian students are beginning to shift attention to other adventures in life.

The latest to move on to greater things is Halima who has tied the knot with the love of her life.

The Abeokuta-based student and fashion designer got married to her coursemate.

She made this known in a video compilation shared on Friday, 9 September 2022.

Known as Leemah on socials, she detailed their relationship journey as coursemates before the ASUU strike.

Leemah followed the images with photos from their traditional marriage ceremony accompanied by images of the couple in a suit and a wedding dress.

Captioning her post, she said;

In related news, a Nigerian student affected by ASUU strike has revealed that she is expecting a baby.

The undergraduate shared the news in a short compilation clip where she displayed her pictures before the strike as well as her current state.

As part of the compilation contained in the video, she merged images of her days in school before the strike, a test strip confirming the pregnancy and a baby bump.

While it is not clear if the fair-looking student and expectant mother will return to school when the strike is called off, she is sure excited to be a mother, thanks to the strike action.
