Atletico Madrid and Barcelona were beaten in their UEFA Champions League games on Tuesday.
Atletico Madrid surprisingly fell to a 2-0 defeat by Club Brugge in Group B. Kamal Sowah scored in the 36th minute of the encounter before Ferran Jutgla scored in the 62nd minute to ensure Atletico returned to Spain empty-handed.
Antoine Griezman could have given his side a lifeline into the game, but he missed a 76th-minute penalty.

At the Giuseppe Meazza, Inter Milan were 1-0 winners over another LaLiga giant, Barcelona. Hakan Calhanoglu’s goal in the second minute of first-half added time was enough to give the Nerazzurri victory.

Although Pedri scored for Barcelona in the 67th minute, it was chalked off for a foul in the build-up to the goal.

Liverpool vs Rangers

Liverpool returned to winning ways, something that has been hard to come by for them this season. The Reds beat visiting Rangers 2-0.

Trent Alexander-Arnold scored a free-kick in the seventh minute before Mohamed Salah scored a penalty in the 53rd minute.
Ajax vs Napoli

Total bashing this one. Napoli romped to a 6-1 victory over their hosts despite going down 1-0 in the ninth minute. Giacomo Raspadori, Giovanni Lorenzo, Piotr Zielinski, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Giovanni Simeone scored in the 18th, 33rd, 45th, 63rd, and 81st minutes to give the Italian side the win. Raspadori scored again in the 47th minute.

FC Porto vs Bayer Leverkusen

Leverkusen took their poor domestic form to the Champions League and were beaten 2-0. Callum Hudson-Odoi’s 16th-minute goal had been ruled out before Patrick Schick also lost a penalty before Porto’s Mehdi Taremi also saw his goal ruled out in the 42nd minute.
The match was settled by Zaidu Sanusi and Wenderson Galeno’s 69th and 87th-minute goals.
Bayern Munich vs Viktoria Plzen

Bayern shredded visitors Viktoria Plzen 5-0. Leroy Sane opened the scoring as early as the seventh minute before Serge Gnabry doubled in the 13th minute. Sadio Mane had his bite in the 21st minute before Sane again, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored in the 50th and 59th minutes.
The German giants set a new record with the victory, remaining unbeaten in their last 31 group matches in the Champions League.
Marseille vs Sporting CP
Marseille were 4-1 winners over visitors Sporting. Although the Portuguese side scored first through Trincao in the first minute, a red card to goalkeeper Antonio Adan in the 23rd minute led to their downfall in France.
Alexis Sanchez equalised in the 13th minute before Amine Harit followed with a goal three minutes later. Then came the Adan incident, where he handled the ball outside his area and got kicked out, and Marseille grabbed two more goals via Leonardo Balerdi and Chancel Mbemba in the 28th and 84th minutes to put the game to bed.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham Hotspur
The match ended 0-0. Harry Kane was guilty of squandering three chances to put Spurs ahead, while Jesper Lindstrom and Daichi Kamada wasted chances to hand Frankfurt the much-needed win.
