Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane has been suspended and fined for striking fellow Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane in the face.
According to Sky Germany, Mane hit Sane in the face following an altercation with Sane during the final minutes of the team’s loss to Manchester City at the Etihad on Tuesday.
Sane sustained a bleeding lip as a result of the contact, and the two were “separated” by the squad as the others were “visibly shocked” by his conduct.

Prior to training on Thursday, both players offered their apologies to their teammates, while Mane awaited the club’s repercussions.
Announcing the board’s decision, Bayern later announced that Mane would “not be included” in their match against Hoffenheim on Saturday and “will also be given a fine.”
With “many players who are critical” of his behaviour, there are speculations the 31-year-old won’t stay at Munich past the summer.
Bayern presently leads the Bundesliga, but are only two points ahead of Dortmund with dangers from outsiders like Union Berlin, RB Leipzig, and SC Freiburg.
