Taylor Swift, who is a very good friend of the Reynolds’, was the one that announced Betty Reynolds’ name to the world with her song, Betty, on her Folklore album. 
Swift referenced the names of Lively’s two daughters, James and Inez in the song Betty.

The moment the album was released, music lovers automatically made the connection that if James and Inez were mentioned in a song named Betty, then Betty was the name of the couple’s third child.
